Whether you are a current ASU undergrad or a prospective graduate student, there are numerous ways to get involved in the Sala Lab:

 Undergraduate Students

  • Volunteer: Come participate with lab work on Tempe ASU campus or field work at the Jornada LTER. See our Research page or contact us for more information about our current projects
  • Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) opportunities: Paid independent research experiences with our lab at the Jornada LTER and other grassland sites through the National Science Foundation
  • Jornada Research Training Program for Undergraduates: paid independent research experiences at the Jornada LTER through New Mexico State University

Graduate Students

If you are a smart, hard-working student who shares our research interests, please contact us and consider applying to one of the programs below. Coursework required for your degree will depend on your particular program, but research training in our lab is developed on a personal basis between each student and Osvaldo.
