Osvaldo Sala, Julie A. Wrigley Professor at Arizona State University, is a leading ecologist and the Founding Director of the Global Drylands Center and leader of the Sala lab, known for his influential research on global biodiversity and dryland ecosystems. With over 250 publications and 66,000 citations, Osvaldo Sala’s interdisciplinary work spans continents and includes collaborations with diverse scientists, while he also actively leading his lab that focuses on representing the importance of drylands.
